Not sure if this is how to reach out to you. I’m a subscribed member and need some direction. I broke out with shingles this past week and was hospitalized.
Hi Jim, I’m sorry to hear it. Do you have the Banerji Protocols books? In case not yet, I’ll post the Shingles protocol here and you can start there. If possible, maybe you can attend the next live Q&A (3/3/26 at 7pm ET) to discuss further. There’s so much I could ask and share. It’s okay to use all of the remedies from all three lines. In my experience, that is helpful. (I edited it slightly to simplify.)
Herpes Simplex/Zoster pg. 83-84 (Shingles)
Viral disease affecting the nerves, pain can be very acute. Post-herpes neuralgia is very persistent. Do not apply any medicine or ointment to the vesicles. If there is skin irritation after drying up, only olive oil or coconut oil should be applied.
Antimonium Crudum 6C every three hours / For temperature: Belladonna 3C (or 6C) hourly / For acute pain: Hypericum 200 hourly (or higher, 1M+ may be required)
Thuja 30 and Arsenicum Alb 200 every three hours (the protocol says to alternate, but I wouldn’t bother with that extra step) / For acute burning pain: Hypericum 200 every two hours til relief (or higher potency, again)
3. To relieve post-herpes neuralgia: If Hypericum fails for acute pain, then Rhus Tox 30 # Hypericum 200, e3H alt *****The Rhus Tox can be very helpful in general, when acute as well, no need to wait.
This is great! Thanks Emily. When we lived in Colorado, we were at 7,000 feet and I felt like my skin was being fried! lol. Being that much closer to the sun really made a difference. Couple that with the extreme dryness, and my skin was a mess. It’s tough to find good products.

What do you think about vaccinococcinum? They want me to take accyclovir for 12 days and I don’t want to take it.
Yes, definitely vaccininum, that’s a great addition.
Thank you Emily.
Also, consider these remedies for shingles pain, from this additional protocol.
Post-Herpetic Neuralgia pg. 107
Tarentula 200 (2-4 times a day)
3. Cuprum Met 200 e3H for acute pain, 2D when normal condition
